Narikala Fortress

Address: Narikala Hill

This fortress is a good place to kick start your Tbilisi adventure. It's a short walk within Old Tbilisi, but it's completely worth it for the views of Tbilisi you'll get to experience.

Fabrika Hostel

Address:  8 Egnate Ninoshvili St

A former Soviet sewing factory turned hip hostel/hangout, Fabrika is a great place to stay if you're a young tourist looking for a cheap but fun place to stay. Even if you don't end up staying there, the Fabrika courtyard is open to the public and is a favorite hangout for young locals and tourists alike.

Funicular/Mtatsminda

Adress: Mtatsminda plateau

Originally built during the Soviet Union, the Funicular tram that leads up to the Mtatsminda park is a great way to get good views of Tbilisi. The station of the tram has popular restaurants, and the Mtatsminda amusement park has many rides for you to enjoy.

Rike Park

Address: Bridge of Peace

Located on the other side of the Bridge of Peace, this park is a good example of Tbilisi's rapid modernization. Other than being a relaxing park to walk through, you can also enter the Tbilisi cable car from here.

Chardin/Agmashenebeli Avenue

Adress: Chardin St/David Agmashenebli Avenue

These pedestrian streets (while not originally designed for this) are avenues and streets just for walking around, shopping, and eating. They're great places to find eat good eats and get the vibe of how Tbilisians like to spend their recreational time.

Ethnographic Museum 

Address: Kus Tba St

This open air museum is a fun way to truly experience Georgian history. The museum features real homes from villages across regions in Georgia, and you can even take classes on traditional Georgian practices like weaving.

Georgian National Museum

Address:  3 Shota Rustaveli Ave

This four story museum is a packed with history. The permanent exhibits range from Georgian jewelry, Middle Eastern to Asian art, and Soviet Occupation. The temporary exhibits are a variety of things, but no matter what is going on when you visit, you will definitely enjoy your time there and learn a lot about Georgia.

Tbilisi History Museum

Address: 8 Sioni St

If you're interested in the history of Tbilisi, ranging from old Tbilisi during its first formation, to how Tbilisi's elite lived in the 19th-20th century, this is the best museum to check out. This three story museum also features temporary exhibits on the third floor that varies from a range of topics, making it a cool mix of things to look forward to seeing.

Sulfur Baths

Address: Abano St

If you want to experience a bit of history while getting massages and improving your skin, the Tbilisi sulfur baths are a great stop. These naturally occurring hot baths were the whole reason Tbilisi was created, so it's a great excuse for enjoying an hisorical spa day.
