Kala/KGB Restaurant

If you get a little hungry while strolling through Chardin, definitely hop into Kala/KGB. If you're a little confused as to why this restaurant is being referenced as "Kala/KGB" it's because the Kala and KGB are technically two different restaurants, but they're right next to each other and share the same kitchen. Pretty much Kala absorbed KGB but they kept the KGB Soviet theme because a lot of tourists seem to love it. I will be mainly referencing Kala because thats the main restaurant, but nevertheless, both restaurants serve the same traditional Georgian food. One main difference between Kala and KGB other than their sizes and themes, is Kala offers live music in the afternoon from various jazz musicians and other local musicians. If you want to do a lot of people watching, the gazebo is the best place for both restaurants because they look right outside to Chardin, but if you want to sit inside thats a good option for both restaurants as well because both of their interiors are cool too. Kala has a cool traditional Georgian theme thats still different from other traditional Georgian restaurants. KGB on the other hand has the Soviet theme that of course correlates with their name, which can be pretty cool for tourists because all the Soviet artifacts are genuine (but honestly, Georgia is teeming with Soviet artifacts so it'll be pretty easy for you to get some for yourself). Whatever restaurant side you choose you'll have good food, after all, Kala has won Trip Advisor awards for two years in a row now.
